Temporary Blindness

PR-08: The Scales Will Fall, The Light Will Be Revealed

Temporary Blindness” is a striking conceptual art series that explores the fragile space between clarity and confusion where vision is clouded, yet movement is still required. Comprising 13 powerful digital compositions, the project invites viewers into a visual meditation on faith, uncertainty, and the unseen guidance that leads us forward.

Rooted in themes of identity, motion, and revelation, each artwork captures a moment of spiritual pause when our sight is obstructed not by darkness, but by the layers of fear, memory, and illusion we carry. Symbolic elements like scales, blindfolds, and floating forms are used to depict the emotional tension of trusting without seeing.

Temporary Blindness is not just about the absence of vision it’s about the journey through that absence. Through vulnerability and visual storytelling, the collection prompts us to consider what it means to walk in trust, to let go of false clarity, and to believe that what’s hidden will one day be revealed.

About "Temporary Blindness"

Temporary Blindness” emerged from a space of uncertainty a season marked not by complete darkness, but by a clouded sense of direction. Conceived by multidisciplinary artist Niyi Adeogun, the project is a visual and conceptual exploration of what it means to move without full clarity. Drawing from personal reflection and universal experiences of transition, doubt, and inner searching, Temporary Blindness invites audiences into the liminal space between faith and fear, vision and obscurity.

At the heart of the project is a commitment to collaboration. Niyi extends the vision of Temporary Blindness beyond his own lens, inviting poets, designers, animators, and fellow creatives to engage with its themes. Each contributor is given a creative brief that encourages introspection and bold interpretation, resulting in a body of work that feels both unified and multifaceted.

Through digital illustration, augmented reality, spoken word, and immersive design, Temporary Blindness becomes more than an art series, it becomes a collective reflection.
